Fire
Breed: Quarter Horse
Arrival at EATSF: 2006
I came to EATSF from Pure Thoughts Horse and Foal Rescue when I was three years old. I was trained to be a “therapy horse” from the beginning and I love my job! I got my name because of my Chestnut color and my red mane and tail.
Ginny

Arrival at EATSF: 2019
I was purchased for the EATSF program because I am the perfect size and height to help some of our adult participants. I used to live right behind EATSF on another farm, where I was learning some western pleasure riding skills.
Goose

Arrival at EATSF: 2013
I am an “Off the Track Thoroughbred” or an “OTTB.” I raced locally at Gulfstream Park under the name Grey Goose but did not like the starting gate very much. I was the adopted by Florida Thoroughbred Rescue and Adoptive Care (FL TRAC), who recommended me to EATSF because of my thoughtful nature.

I was donated to EATSF by my owner, who was training me to be a competitive Dressage horse. Since arriving at EATSF, I have helped participants of all ages accomplish their goals.
Jose

I was donated to EATSF after my career as a nationally ranked vaulting horse, and travelled from Georgia to EATSF to be a member of the herd. I am the largest horse in the barn, standing at 17.3 hands high.
Geronimo "Mo"
Breed: Arabian/Welsh cross
Arrival at EATSF: 2021
I was purchased for the EATSF program because I am the perfect height for participants who are young and just starting. My mom is very happy that I am working here and I still get to say hi to her from time to time!
Oreo

I was purchased for the EATSF program because of my size and my experience. I used to work for another therapeutic riding center and love this job.
Star
Breed: Quarter Horse
Arrival at EATSF: 2001
I was donated to EATSF by my young owner who grew too tall for me. She used to take me to shows on the weekend and that is my favorite thing to do! I consider myself to be the alpha of the EATSF herd and take my job seriously.
